It would be absolutely amazing if someone could post a link to a tutorial that tells me what to do, or let me know how this is done (and if it works in Elements as well.). My plan so far is to master the songs in Pro Tools and basically finish them there (dither, 16bit etc.) and then import them into Wavelab and do whatever secret thing needs to be done to create a ddl image with embedded IRSC codes. Unfortunately my google skills must be terrible or something, because I just can't come up with a tutorial to tell me how this is done.
WaveLab provides intuitive track assembly, audio editing, application of effects. Mastering means adjusting levels, equalization, spatial integration and many other audio aspects between different audio tracks in order to create a coherent acoustic experience across the entire production. Wave Lab 6 has an option to generate DDP image with a purchase of 1195 (appx. WaveLab Export: CD Mastering, Rendering and DDP creation.
I found out that Wavelab can do these things, so I downloaded the demo of Wavelab Elements (don't have one of those cubase dongles for demoing the full version). Gear Pro Since all CD plants are now accepting DDP image, I was wondering what would be the best solution and investment for generating this DDP image.
After finding out what these cryptic letters mean, I tried to locate a way to do this in Pro Tools.

I got a pdf from the manufacturer of the final CDs saying that I need to deliver a ddp image, including the IRSC codes as well (got these ones already). Blue-eyed I just jumped in and although musically relatively prepared (I attended enough mastering sessions in dedicated mastering studios - although mainly analog based), I am now struggling with quite a few things: I am usually happy with giving the work I record and/or mix to a good mastering engineer, but a few days ago I was explicitly asked to master a 4 song EP. This minor update enables the installation of WaveLab 6 on Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) as a 32-bit application.
